Leadership & technical team: engineers run this company

Hanart is managed by people whose careers were built in design offices and on construction sites — because the decisions that decide whether an envelope performs are engineering decisions, and the people making them should be accountable for the outcome.

Engineering-Led Management

A company managed the way a facade is built: from the inside out

Contractor-led leadership means every commercial decision — what to bid, how to price, how to schedule, which risks to accept — is made with a working understanding of how the envelope is actually designed, fabricated and erected.

The management team of Shanghai Hanart combines design and construction backgrounds: people who have carried out facade engineering calculations, run fabrication lines and directed site installations. This dual background shows up in decisions an owner can observe. When a schedule is committed, it reflects the real fabrication capacity of the Qingpu plant, not a commercial guess. When a system is proposed, it reflects what the design team can verify and the factory can produce to tolerance.

The structure is not decorative. Because key leaders hold the Class-A design qualification and the Grade-I contracting qualification at the company level, the chain from design intent to installed result carries no external hand-off where responsibility could blur. That is why six Luban Prizes are organizationally possible: the same leadership signs for the drawing, the panel and the site result.

Three Capability Lines

How the technical organization is structured

Three integrated lines — engineered to hand work to each other with minimal loss of responsibility.

Line 01

Engineering & Design

Structure, thermal and airtightness analysis; system selection; shop drawings; BIM coordination. The team that turns the architect's intent into fabricated reality.

Line 02

Fabrication

Production planning, CNC machining, unit assembly, sealant application and factory testing leaders — the people who make the panels that make the schedule.

Line 03

Project & Site

Project managers, site engineers and safety managers executing erection to ISO 45001 frameworks, from domestic landmarks to overseas sites in New York, Kuwait and Ulaanbaatar.

Our technical team includes

Rather than list names that would be unverifiable here, we describe the disciplines your project will actually interface with — and you will be introduced to named individuals when we quote your project:

  • Facade structural engineers responsible for system verification
  • Thermal and performance analysts for energy and airtightness targets
  • BIM coordinators managing clash-free interfaces with other trades
  • Fabrication supervisors who own the Qingpu production lines
  • Site project managers and safety managers for erection and HSE
  • Export logistics coordinators for international deliveries

Every quotation and every prequalification submission names the actual engineering and project leads for your contract — the same people who will sign the deliverables and be reachable after handover.

Accountability by Signature

The signed-work commitment

Hanart operates a signed-deliverable regime on every project: structural calculations, shop drawings, fabrication documentation and site inspection records carry the signature of the responsible engineer, with a named project manager accountable for the contract result. This is deliberately modeled on the professional-liability cultures our overseas clients work within — and it forces the same discipline internally that we promise externally: if a number appears in a submittal, a named person owns it.

In practice this means every owner email goes to a named engineer who can answer the technical question without escalating through a faceless chain. And it means the six Luban Prizes and the thirty-plus provincial and ministerial awards are traceable to named leadership — the record of the same teams your project would join.

“We put names on documents because documents are where engineering commitments are made.”

FAQ

Questions we hear most often, answered

Because the decisions that decide whether an envelope performs are engineering decisions; the leadership team is composed of people who have calculated, fabricated and installed facades.

Schedules reflect real plant capacity and proposed systems reflect what the factory can produce to tolerance, so commitments are verifiable, not commercial guesses.

Key leaders hold the company's Class-A design qualification and Grade-I contracting qualification, keeping design and construction in one accountable chain.
