Materials

Material selection for the corrosion environment

Hardware is where a facade fails first if materials are wrong. Hanart selects every component grade for its corrosion environment — from inland dry climates to coastal marine zones — with bimetallic isolation where dissimilar metals meet.

  • Aluminum: 6063-T5/T6 extrusions and plates, anodized or powder-coated
  • Stainless: 304 (inland) / 316L (coastal & marine) for anchors and fittings
  • Seals: EPDM, silicone, neoprene with certified weathering data
  • Fixed: galvanized or zinc-nickel steel for concealed cavity fixings

Tested, certified, traceable

Every hardware batch is load-tested, certified and batch-traceable. Test reports cover tension, shear, pull-out and fatigue as applicable — and production lots are linked to material certificates by batch number, so you can trace any component back to its raw material.

  • Load test certificates per batch
  • Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1) for stainless
  • Batch-number traceability on every carton
  • QC inspected before packing, shipped with dunnage protection

FAQ

Hardware supply questions, answered

Yes. Hanart supplies hardware and accessory components as OEM/wholesale orders to facade contractors worldwide, with material certificates, load test reports and full traceability.

Standard materials include 6063-T5/T6 aluminum extrusions and plates, 304/316L stainless steel for anchors and fittings, EPDM and silicone for gaskets and seals, and galvanized or zinc-nickel steel for concealed fixings — each selected for the corrosion environment.

Yes. Anchor and fitting load capacities are verified by calculation and testing (tension, shear, pull-out, and fatigue where required), with test reports and certificates delivered with each batch. Production lots are traceable by batch number.

Standard stock items (setting blocks, gaskets, screws) have a low minimum order. Custom-machined components require a first-off batch and are quoted per project. Contact our supply team for a quotation with your specifications.

Yes — custom hardware design is a Hanart strength. Our engineering team models, prototypes and load-tests bespoke fittings for non-standard geometries, and delivers production drawings with the batch. Ask us for a custom hardware engineering quote.
