Facade Engineering Insights Blog

The engineers' public notebook: technical articles on curtain wall systems, procurement and performance testing — written to help you buy smarter and specify better, not to sell you a brochure.

Why This Blog Exists

Engineers Keep a Public Notebook

Most of what owners and project managers know about facades comes from suppliers who want the order. This blog exists because Hanart's engineers answer the same questions repeatedly — at tenders, in design reviews, on e-mail — and the answers deserve a permanent home in plain language.

Articles are written by the engineering team and reviewed against the company's fabrication and site experience. Each post states its subject without fluff, cites the standards and practices that actually apply, and links to the technical pages of this site for depth. New articles are added as topics are covered; the walls below show the current first-year editorial queue.
